When the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) set out to build global momentum around the 2024 International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, they entrusted us with a bold mission: to create a campaign that didn’t just raise awareness but sparked action, especially among the world’s youth. Rooted in the theme “Empowering the Next Generation for a Resilient Future,” our agency led a multi-platform communications strategy that turned complex disaster risk themes into accessible, compelling, and emotionally resonant stories. From safe schools and inclusive education to empowering children through early warning systems, our team developed a creative system of storytelling and activation tools that resonated from classrooms to global advocacy networks. The result was a high-impact campaign that elevated visibility, strengthened partnerships, and gave young people a powerful voice in shaping their own future.
